JOB SUMMARY:
The Application Specialist is responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support to customers on
Ultrasound Products. They develop and deliver technical training plans in Image and workflow
optimization. They also support Ultrasound Sales and Applications.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
High Quality Customer Training and support in Application.
Customer assistance in Image Optimization process.
Demonstrate features and benefits of products at trade shows, seminars, customer sites, etc.
Provide support to the Sales team where required.
Detect Application deficiencies and escalate where necessary.
Self-training on Software changes.
Drive escalations according to defined process.
Provide detailed reports of Applications training and/or visits and record in CRM system.
Work with Project Managers to ensure sufficient resources available.
Collect and provide user feedback to help enhance or develop future products.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Clinical background with 2+ years relevant modality experience.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in Clinical Sonography.
Good knowledge of equipment.
Expert knowledge of Ultrasound exams, environment, and workflow.
Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Strong team player.
Excellent communication skills including the ability to engage with all relevant stakeholders.
Experience of working cross-culturally would be an advantage.
Excellent and effective organisational, time management and planning skills.
Willing to travel – territory covers Republic of Ireland.
May involve overnight stays.
