JOB SUMMARY:

The Application Specialist is responsible for providing pre- and post-sales support to customers on

Ultrasound Products. They develop and deliver technical training plans in Image and workflow

optimization. They also support Ultrasound Sales and Applications.

KEY ACTIVITIES:

 High Quality Customer Training and support in Application.

 Customer assistance in Image Optimization process.

 Demonstrate features and benefits of products at trade shows, seminars, customer sites, etc.

 Provide support to the Sales team where required.

 Detect Application deficiencies and escalate where necessary.

 Self-training on Software changes.

 Drive escalations according to defined process.

 Provide detailed reports of Applications training and/or visits and record in CRM system.

 Work with Project Managers to ensure sufficient resources available.

 Collect and provide user feedback to help enhance or develop future products.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

 Clinical background with 2+ years relevant modality experience.

 Educated to degree level or equivalent in Clinical Sonography.

 Good knowledge of equipment.

 Expert knowledge of Ultrasound exams, environment, and workflow.

 Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

 Strong team player.

 Excellent communication skills including the ability to engage with all relevant stakeholders.

 Experience of working cross-culturally would be an advantage.

 Excellent and effective organisational, time management and planning skills.

 Willing to travel – territory covers Republic of Ireland.

 May involve overnight stays.
