We are seeking a Skilled Air Conditioning Service Technician to join a leading Mechanical company. The ideal candidate will install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Install new air conditioning systems, ensuring compliance with safety codes and optimal placement.
- Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks, including cleaning filters, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting system components for efficiency.
- Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, performing necessary repairs or replacements of faulty parts and addressing electrical problems.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, provide estimates, and recommend solutions for repairs or upgrades.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to local regulations and safety standards, including the proper handling of refrigerants.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an air conditioning technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA certification) are preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
