About Your New Employer

You would be working for one of the leading chemical providers in the country. The site is currently expanding and a new requirement for an EHS Manager has arisen. This job will be managing a team of three so direct report experience is an essential requirement.

About Your New Job

  • You will provide advice and support to direct reports and stakeholders with regard to H&S and occupational health and safety matters
  • You will effectively manage process safety requirements for the site including all aspects of manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and project engineering whilst ensuring compliance with legislative requirements
  • You will manage and develop a team of H&S personnel and their performance in line with the company’s appraisal systems
  • Design, implement and monitor the site emergency procedures

What Skills You Need

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the management of Health and Safety in a chemical/API site at a management level.
  • Experience of implementing or working within ISO 45001
  • Substantial experience in Process Safety Management within a chemical/API environment
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Proven ability to apply a meticulous approach to tasks undertaken.
  • Strong experience in managing people.
