HR Manager

Location: Galway City

Type of contract: Permanent

Hours – Office hours, Monday to Friday.

About Your New Job

  • You will be a key member of the site’s leadership team. At the moment the HR function is looked after by a HR Generalist and some of the management team. They now see the need to bring in an experienced HR Manager with strategic HR experience.
  • You’ll do a deep dive in the HR processes and procedures and set up a structured, formal HR function.
  • This will ultimately be a stand alone role however this company is growing and there is potential to grow the HR team in the future.


What Skills/Experience You Need

  • Degree qualified in HR or a relevant discipline with CIPD membership desirable.
  • 5+ years of strategic HR experience with a solid understanding of HR policies & procedures.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to guide business leaders.
  • Experience of HR within the Care industry would be beneficial but not essential, it is more important that applicants have experience of strategic HR within a SME.

  • The successful applicant will be offered a permanent contract, a competitive salary and 3% pension.
  • There will be the need to be on site for most of the week however there will be flexibility with remote working and there is flexibility with working times so that you can work around child care/school drops offs/appointments etc.
