Job description

Due to expansion within our business, we are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team organisation with excellent career progression.

Responsibilities • Bookkeeping for • Reconciling Debtors and Creditors

• Completion of Creditors Control Accounts, Debtors Control Accounts

• Completion of VAT and PAYE Control Accounts

• Preparation of Bank Reconciliations

• Preparation of accounts to trial balance

• Accounts Payable

• Process payroll for 15 people Candidate profile

• Ideal candidate should have at least two years’ experience within a similar position,

• Strong attention to detail, strong technical knowledge and an awareness of current issues

• An effective and motivated team player

• Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise workload and multi task

• They should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and be familiar with a computerised payroll and Accounting software,

• Good communication skills are important and there will be significant interaction with their clients

• Role will suit an ambitious candidate who can take on responsibility and is looking for a role within a quality business

• Experience in the construction industry desirable Salary 35K to 40 K
