Job description

IT Engineer - Cork City - 40k - Permanent

My client is a multinational IT company focused on cyber security, looking for an IT engineer to join their helpdesk team. This is a permenant position role, based in Cork City.

What you will be doing: 

  • Provide IT support for company users, and support for enterprise desktop, laptop and mobile devices
  • Take direct ownership over problem resolution through own skills or by timely escalation
  • Handle service requests from company users 
  • Assist with training the users on how to use the IT systems
  • Take part in regional and global scale IT projects
  • The physical location of the IT Engineer will be in the Cork office, but some time will be required to travel to additional corporate branches

What you will need: 

  • Knowledge in Windows 10 and office 365
  • Experience with Active directory
  • Troubleshooting skills in both hardware and software issues
  • Working knowlege in client networking (such as TCP-IP, DNS – client-side)
  • 2 years experience 
  • Excellent communication skills
