Job description

As Finance Manager, you will be a key member of the Finance Team that is responsible for delivering excellent support, expertise and high quality management information to our local and global leadership teams

You will act as Finance Manager responsible for our group services company, providing financial control, cost management and business partnering with our Group Functions. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and control the financial performance and reporting of the group shared services company
  • Manage the group shared services cost base including the production of detailed budgets, performance reporting and trend analysis
  • Understand performance issues and provide suggestions for corrective action
  • Working with the data analytics team
  • Manage the charge-out of group shared services to business divisions,
  • Partner with group function heads on matters relating to the delivery of financial and operational performance for their departments
  • Provide timely and accurate financial and operating performance reports to key constituents including annual Budgets, intra-year forecasts, cyclical financial reporting, recharging sheets
  • Ensure balance sheet integrity through execution of controls
  • Oversee the preparation of the annual statutory financial statements
  • Oversee the financial planning process for group functions including annual budget preparation, forecasting, and analysis of financial results/management reports
  • Support any operational requirements relating to the group functions
  • Implement and monitor adherence to financial reporting and control policies in accordance with company and group requirements and standard accounting practices

REQUIREMENTS

 

  •  Fully qualified and trained Accountant  
    •    Member of a recognised Accounting body (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) 
    •    2+ years post qualification experience, ideally in a group reporting or business partnering role
    •    Experience of managing a finance team an advantage
    •    Budgeting and forecasting experience
    •    Keen interest in finance systems and data analysis tools
