Job description

Looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to work with leading automotive manufacturers across Europe.

Key responsibilities:

Business Development

  • Deliver and exceed sales, profit & margin across automotive manufacturers in
    Europe
  • Creating new points of contact with new customers.
  • Regularly contact potential customers and build relationships with buyers
  • Manage new customers through management of prospect list.
  • Identify growth areas and opportunities
  • Identify and report on competitor practices

Current Customer Management

  • Point of contact with the customers.
  • Attendance at customer/ supplier meetings.
  • Analysis of forecast information.
  • Working on new projects and putting plans in place regarding testing and production
  • Attendance at any project launch events.
  • Monitoring of current projects and identifying any project coming to an end.

Key requirements

  • At least five years experience in a similar Key Account/Sales role dealing directly with automotive manufacturers
  • Fluent French an advantage
  • Experience working with Purchasing departments and working on tenders and RFQs
  • Able to travel frequently, mainly in Europe
