Lead Gen – Software

North Wicklow/South Dublin

Working with a fast paced technology solutions company who are actively looking to hire a Sales Development Rep to assist in expanding their customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting and outbound lead gen, qualifying new sales leads that fit their customer profiles, and generating and booking new demo opportunities to support the Sales team.

Duties include:
• Prospecting, generating, qualifying, processing/following up on leads and setting demo appointments for the sales team
• Develop and manage a ‘new prospects’ database via telephone and mass communication such as email and social media
• Initiating contact with potential customers through phone and email outreach, social media channels such as LinkedIn and Twitter
• Respond to inquiries generated from marketing campaigns
• Work with the sales/marketing teams to develop prospecting/lead generation strategies
• Create relationships with potential customers to identify their needs
• Conducting follow-up communications in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel, connecting them to a salesperson for demo and arranging in-person meetings, emails, or phone calls

Skills/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (an advantage/not essential)
• 2+ years telesales, marketing or business development related experience (preferred)
• B2B experience and IT /software solutions exposure is a bonus
