General Ledger Accountant (Qualified)

Job description

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle requirements for SOX Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure effectiveness, accuracy, implementation, and adherence to SOX documentation
  • Completion of monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet Variance Analysis
  • Manage Fixed Asset and Lease accounting with associated accruals
  • Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations according to PCAOB requirements
  • Prepare Statistical Returns
  • Review and posting of payroll journals
  • Assist with monthly forecasting and annual budgeting
  • Prepare local Gaap Financial Statements
  • Assist with Audits

 

Candidate Profile:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS an advantage
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics Nav a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel essential
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving
  • Exposure to a Shared Service Centre environment.
