Project Manager – Medtech

The Project Manager role is responsible for overall successful implementation, testing and delivery and customer projects. The Project manager leads key projects and works with all key stakeholders both internally and externally to ensure success.

Responsibilities

  • Defines and manages the product roadmap
  • Maintains detailed project plans and status reports for each assigned customer project
  • Responsibility to manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring that they understand what features and benefits are upcoming and relevant and appropriate timelines
  • Identify, report and escalate project risks; Effectively prioritize and escalate customer issues as required
  • Define and execute contingency planning and mitigation strategies as necessary
  • Accountable for the project completeness, as well as any additional team processes
  • Implement project-specific customizations and configurations
  • Coordinate internal resources for execution of SaMD implementations
  • Coordinate with other project managers to identify schedule, resource, and scope dependencies
  • Communicate implementation status, progress on deliverables, and risks/issues to partners and leadership in a timely manner
  • Identify and act on opportunities that streamline processes, documentation, and overall customer experience
  • Provides technical competence as leadership in solving customer, as well as internal product and development problems while fostering creativity and innovation in design and problem solutions
  • Identify and resolve project risks. This is different from simply identifying and escalating issues. We are looking for a problem solver who will work to resolve issues.

Experience

 5 years of project management experience in a technology company 

  • Experience managing software development projects in the SaMD or life science areas a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree minimum  
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and clients
  • Demonstrated experience in on-time and on-budget delivery of software projects that include customer interactions 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision (we are looking for a proven self-starter)
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with team members 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a small team setting 
  • Possess the ability to analyze requirements and propose appropriate solutions
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
