HR Generalist


Initial FTC

My exclusive healthcare sector client is recruiting a HR Generalist to join their expanding team in Cork on an initial 6-month contract.


  • Day-to-day Operational HR for the site
  • Act as a point of contact for all HR queries on the site
  • Manage the full employee life cycle
  • End-to-end recruitment from screening to interviewing and on-boarding
  • Lead and participate in grievance and disciplinary procedures as required
  • Deliver and organise training activities including engaging external providers as necessary
  • Assist in performance management activitiesHR Data management and general HR administration
  • Regular reporting in relation to HR activities and data trends
  • Assist in the design and implementation of various HR projects and initiatives
  • Other ad-hoc HR-related duties when required


  • Degree in Human Resources or similar relevant area
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR role
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience across a range of HR functions including recruitment, training, employee relations, performance management,
  • Knowledge of Irish employment law
  • Flexible and adaptable to suit business needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of the need for confidentiality
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Proficiency in MS Office
