Accounts Assistant - In Industry - Charleville

We are currently looking for an experience Accounts Assistant to join our client on an initial 12 month contract in Charleville, County Cork. The company are a long established Multi National company, and are looking to add an experienced new member to their Accounts department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Being part of the Finance team that delivers monthly management accounts, covering a range of month end tasks such as bank/timesheet reconciliations, fixed asset register journals, accounts receivable and payable duties.

  • Generate cash flow reports and working with our customers to ensure smooth cash collections.

  • Working with our accounts system Sage 200, including entering Purchase Orders, Delivery Dockets, Purchase Invoices and Sales Orders on Sage 200.

  • Providing backup to Sales and Accounts Administrators.

  • Weekly payroll using Sage Micropay Professional. Experience with Sage would be beneficial for candidates.

  • Answering the telephone, transferring calls and emailing messages.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary circa €30k
  • Option to Work From Home 2/3 days per week after induction and training process
