Payroll specialist job

Job description

Leading Multinational with EMEA HQ in Cork is looking for an experienced Payroll analyst for an immediate start

Your duties will include but not be limited to

  • Reporting on and reconciliation of benefits & pay data,
  • Complete the day to day payroll operational tasks as directed by the Payroll Manager.
  • Collaborate with International Benefits Team to become an expert on the EMEA wide benefits offered by Apple.
  • Coordinate Payroll closes for European Payrolls as directed by Payroll Manager.
  • Ensure all payrolls are completed in a timely & accurate manner and in line with SOX controls.
  • Completing and Co-ordinating tax year ends for various European Payrolls 
  • Liaise with Accounting team for completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure GL balances relating to Payroll activities are being actively managed.   
  • Ensure all payrolls are completed in a timely & accurate manner and in line with SOX controls.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years experience in a similiar role
  • Previous experience of high volume, fast paced Payroll Processes is preferred
  • Proven ability to investigate & re-engineer processes, centralise work that is disparate across the organisation & build long-term scalable solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly experienced in using payroll systems
