My client, an established legal firm based in Cork city is recruiting a Legal Secretary to join their team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to solicitors
  • Liaise with barristers/clients/third parties
  • Audio typing from digital dictation
  • Create, amend and format correspondence/documents
  • Prepare court documents
  • Filing/data management
  • Other ad-hoc administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • Experience in a legal secretary role/administrative role in a legal environment is essential
  • Litigation experience is an advantage but not essential
  • Dictaphone typing experience
  • Strong communications skills and a professional manner
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Strong administration and IT skills including a high proficiency in MS Office
