Health and Safety Officer

Job description

Job duties include:


  • Carrying out H&S Inductions
  • RAMS reviewing / compilation
  • Arranging regular Site Safety Meetings
  • Ensuring all H&S policy, procedure, rules & regulations are adhered to
  • Taking the lead on injury and incident reporting and investigation
  • Carrying out regular H&S inspections / audits of construction zones and preparin reports for distribution
  • Managing and advising site teams accordingly in line with agreed safe systems of work 
  • Implementing disciplinary measures when required


Job requirements:


  • 3 + years plus experience in construction H&S
  • Health & Safety legislation knowledge
  • Main contractor or PSCS experience
  • Computer skills essential
  • Degree or relevant Health & Safety qualification
  • Experience of dealing with insurances and loss adjuster function
  • Tender submission experience
  • Experience in maintaining PPM system
