Infrastructure Lead / Manager

Infrastructure Lead / IT Operations Manager for a permanent role in our IT team, reporting directly to the Head of IT Ireland


·        Manage a geographically disperse team of 9 IT administrators, supporting the business across 11 sites in Ireland to provide a unified and standardised service

·        Act as technical lead for the IT department and provide hands-on support for the team

·        Manage the countrywide IT infrastructure ensuring a reliable and robust environment for the business

·        Manage the Treasury IT environment including critical banking and ERP applications

·        Develop, manage and implement project plans e.g. infrastructure migrations, upgrades and technology enhancements

·        Ensure compliance with local and group policies and procedures

·        Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for compliance and operational tasks

·        Liaise with business management, internal IT and third party vendors to ensure appropriate service levels are met and maintained

·        Collaborate with the Head of IT on strategy development and department planning

Technical Skills Required:

·        Strong technical background and experience in systems administration

·        Ability to perform Root Cause Analysis effectively

·        Ability to understand business processes to enable and promote technological solutions

·        Make sense of complex information to effectively solve problems

·        Seek ways to improve technical and functional processes, from small tweaks to complete reengineering

Experience Required:

·        4 years+ experience in a management or leadership role

·        4 years+ experience in a systems admin / technical role

·        BSc in technology related discipline

·        Previous experience in a compliance-based environment
