Contract

Cork/Remote

 

My client, a global organisation in the technology sector is recruiting a Project Manager to join their team in Cork working remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the implementation of process improvement projects
  • Identify areas of concern and mitigate risks
  • Communicate effectively and regularly with stakeholders both locally and internationally
  • Ensure the resolution of any issues in an efficient and timely manner
  • Act as a project subject matter expert for cross functional teams
  • Ensure the project aligns with and adheres to relevant legislation
  • Create and present regular progress reports through the use of various systems
  • Drive a culture of organisational excellence within the team and beyond

Requirements

  • Third level degree in a relevant discipline
  • Previous experience leading projects, preferably in a multinational shared services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency through the improvement and implementation of effective business processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing international teams remotely
  • Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
  • Experience with Health &Safety/Employee Wellbeing/Benefits is an advantage
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and delegate effectively
  • Sound judgement and strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet business needs
  • Knowledge of and experience utilising Lean Six Sigma methodologies or similar
  • Highly proficient in MS Office including Word and Excel
  • Strong systems experience including HRIS, ERP, etc.
