Buyer - Limerick

Job description

My client are a leading manufacturing company based in Limerick.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers.
  • Manage cost price by negotiating with suppliers.
  • Liaise with the production manager, the finance team and the supply chain manager.
  • Keep up to date on market trend, develop strategies to capitalise on those trends.
  • Ensure clear communication and smooth implementation on all range assortment changes in your area.
  • Assist with weekly and monthly reports.

 

Requirements

  • Third Level Degree in Business/ Procurement related discipline.
  • 3+ Years’ experience in a procurement function.
  • Experience negotiating prices with clients.
