Job description

Experienced EHS professionals with over 5 years track record in safety oversight including construction sector exposure may well be attracted to this job opportunity based in North Dublin.

An established and successful energy company is looking to recruit a Health and Safety Officer to ensure EHS procedures and practices are followed across renewable energy sites, some in development phase.

If successful in taking up this role, you'll be visiting sites regularly, carrying out risk assessments and site audits, and making sure of compliance by third parties.You will also carry out inspections as required and ensure overall that EHS obligations are followed by all concerned.

You will need to have at least 5 years' experience as a safety officer or advisor with a strong knowledge of wind farm sites an advantage. Also required: degree or diploma in safety management and IOSH membership.
You can expect to travel regularly to sites around the country so some flexibility is necessary in the position.
