Financial Reporting Assistant Manager

Job description

My client within the investments area currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant with a strong funds backgroun to help manage their team within the financial reporting space . To be suitable you must be working in a funds company within the financial reporting area and have some staff management experience and maybe looking to take the next step up . i will also consider people working as Assistant Managers within Top 10 or Big 4 firms and keen to move to industry 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Support manager on day to day aspects of running a team 
  • Ensure all established financial reporting procedures are maintained and updated where needed 
  • Organise workflow and meeting for the team 
  • Train, coach and mentor members of the team 
  • Prepare all regulatory returns for funds and other reports as required 
  • Management of audit process 
  • Projects within the team 
  • all other duties as required 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Qualified accountant working within a funds company in the financial reporting area, with some staff management and keen to take the next step in their career 
  • Audit Assistant Manager worked on audits of funds and keen to move to industry
