Financial Reporting Assistant Manager - GAAP - 75K

Job description

My client within the funds industry currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant with a strong financial reporting background. You will have experience in managing more junior members of staff and reviewing their work
• To fully support the Manager in all aspects of the day to day management of the team;
• Ensure all established financial reporting procedures and controls are updated
• Organize and monitor workflow, meetings for the team
• Supervise staff on systems, procedures and job responsibilities
• Prepare and or review monthly regulatory returns for assigned funds
• Prepare and or review quarterly regulatory returns for assigned funds
• Serve as main client operational contact for assigned clients during annual and interim financial reporting and audit periods
• Manage the audit process from planning through to completion and distribution
• Preparation of Annual and Interim Financial Statements
• Project work

• Qualified Accountant with 2-3 years managing more junior members of staff
• Strong financial reporting background- Irish, US or Lux GAAP experience
• Would be advantage to have private equity experience
• Strong financial product knowledge
• Strong regulatory – central bank returns experience

I have both Assistant Manager and Team Leader roles available – 60-75k depending on experience
