Technical Project Manager - Physical Security


Great role for a Physical Security Technical Project Manager (remote based) in Dublin with a global consutlancy company. This role will support the development and execution of the Physical Security technical activities within the broader EMEA region. The successful candidate will have strong project management experience, deep technical knowledge, be a self-starter, and have the ability to drive physical security projects. You will support Global Security by analysing, implementing and maintaining a robust physical security program to help protect facilities, people and equipment. 




  • Physical security subject matter expert with deep technical knowledge
  • Project manage physical security integrations and remediation strategies to ensure global security standards are achieved
  • Execute on the Global Security vision, mission and goals as delegated by Global Security
  • Analyse physical security data for threats to our associates and facilities
  • Apply subject matter expertise in the physical security design/architecture of new and existing sites
  • Assist with the development of enterprise wide physical security technology platforms
  • Develop training procedures and instruction on the use of new and existing security technology
  • Support the security team with IT related issues
  • Review and maintain audit reports to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices
  • Develop and maintain a system to track financial quotes, requisitions, purchase orders, and CAPEX/OPEX for Physical Security
  • Advise Global Security Leadership on all physical security matters in the region
  • Conduct physical security assessments to determine risk and recommend mitigation actions
  • Develop, implement and continually update facility security programs, policies and procedural guidelines to protect associates, property, and reputation
  • Conduct due diligence and establish standards for security vendors throughout the region to ensure consistent service levels and competitive pricing



Required Knowledge and Skills


  • Proven project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
  • High level of information technology competency, i.e. Active Directory, SQL, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, PowerShell
  • Experienced in root cause analysis and solving complex technical problems
  • Experience managing physical security integrations and budgets
  • Expert in fields of Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion Detection. Experience and/or certifications in Lenel OnGuard and Milestone VMS highly preferred
  • Sound judgement, decision making abilities, and advanced technical troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communicator with the ability to effectively articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience
  • This role is remote based and requires an adequate location to work from
  • Minimum 3 years of physical security technical project management experience.
