Workforce Planning Manager




My client, a well-respected leading organisation in the telecommunications sector is recruiting a Workforce Planning Manager to join their site in Limerick. Reporting directly to the site lead, the successful candidate will have a background in the BPO sector and previous experience in a similar role.


  • Lead all Workforce Planning activities including call demand, FTE plan and development of forecasting strategy, etc.
  • Ensure the delivery of all forecasting and capacity plans in an efficient and timely manner
  • Analyse the success of forecasting plans and investigate any significant short fall in planned performance
  • Ensure the methods and strategies of forecasting are appropriate to deliver on SLAs, agreed targets and budgets
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying, designing and implementing process improvements
  • Liaise and partner with recruitment, operations and senior management to develop strategies to deliver on business requirements
  • Ensure all workforce planning supports the overall business strategy and goals
  • Provide forecasts and capacity plans to enable the recruitment and training of employees to support business needs
  • Risk management and contingency planning to allow for operational changes


  • 3+ years’ experience in a Workforce Planning Management role or similar role
  • Experience in a BPO/Call Centre environment is essential
  • Third level qualification in Business/HR or a similar relevant area
  • Experience with enterprise scheduling, planning and forecasting tools and methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, design and implement process improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships at varying levels
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working to budgets, deadlines and SLAs
  • Highly organised with a solution focused approach
  • Ability to analyse and utilise complex data
  • Strong systems experience and high proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel reporting
