Job description

A household name in FMCG retail is seeking to recruit an experienced eCommerce Manager to join their growing marketing team in Dublin.

The role will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the company’s online business plan.

Main Activities and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Marketing you will have full responsibility for growing, developing and implementing the company’s online sales proposition to maximise profit.

Full responsibility for developing and improving the user on-line experience.

Develop all campaigns and testing to engage customers and drive usage and acquisition across all online platforms.

Work with developers to improve website speed

Monitor web analytics and internal data sources

Regular reporting of commercial and site metrics performance vs plan and objectives

Using data insights to develop rationale to support initiatives, engage relevant stakeholders and aid decision making

Work closely and collaborate with other internal stakeholders to ensure maximum efficiency of the CRM strategy across the business

Manage and develop the existing online team

Ensure the integrity of the brand is maintained across all company communications.


Experience and skills

Minimum 3rd Level Marketing, Computer Science or Business-related degree

4 + years’ experience in e-Commerce, ideally within a premium branded products/retail

Hands-on experience in both commercial as well as technological drivers of ecommerce, ranging from front end to back end, tools and systems

Proven track record in website structure and functionally

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, adept at problem-solving and managing multiple priorities.

Desire to make an impact on business decisions with data; possess a balance of strong quantitative and analytical skills with a passion in business and leadership

Deep knowledge of retail marketing trends across industries

Commercially driven and results focused

Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
