My client has offices in Galway City and is currently recruiting for 2 DevOp positions.

The technologies this client works with are Python or Shell however these roles will suit applicants who have the knowledge of one or more programming languages and are keen to adapt and learn new languages.

Here are brief descriptions of each vacancy:

DevOps Engineer AWS – Mid to Senior level

  • You’ll be responsible for developing, debugging and troubleshooting software/enhancements to software (utilizing AWS tool-sets).
  • You will work in a busy technical team alongside consultants and other internal development teams.
  • Your time will be split between developing and operating environments in AWS. You'll help with designing, developing, deploying, operating and scaling the infrastructure.
  • A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or similar equivalent experience is required.
  • 2-5 years software development experience.
  • 1-5 years Unix infrastructure experience.
  • Experienced with cloud service providers including AWS or Azure etc.
  • Excellent problem solving and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate good working relationships with both internal teams and customers.

 

DevOps Engineer – Mid to Senior Level

  • You’ll be responsible for developing programs and performing unit and systems testing based on project/client requirements.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills are a big plus.
  • Responsible for analyzing and designing solutions.
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance of all project material.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with any of the following development tools – HTML, VB.net, C#, SQL is a plus however applicants with 2-3 years + development experience who are keen to further their technical knowledge and to work in a DevOps environment will be considered.
  • Excellent problem solving and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate good working relationships with both internal teams and customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Computing, Computer Science or a related field
