Qualified Accountant - Treasury exp - IFSC

Job description


My client based in the IFSC currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant to join their treasury team on a contract basis


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Reporting financial performance to Group in accordance with Group Reporting Timetable and Group Financial Reporting Requirements
• Provide in depth analysis, including forward looking projections, to Management of financial and management information of  Group Treasury
• Support Treasury management and group stakeholders with information and analysis of Treasury performance versus budget, forecasts, cost  development
• Monitor and assist in Intercompany reconciliations to ensuring that all intercompany positions net to zero on consolidation
• Other group reporting requirements
• Co-ordinate Treasury monthly report for distribution to relevant management
• Support Group entities, if and when needed
• Maintain Treasury Internal Control Framework
• Ensuring Treasury is tax compliant with any relevant tax legislation
• Corporation tax computations in co-operation with Finance
• Ensuring all withholding tax payments relating to Treasury are correct and certificates in order  
• Co-ordination of  financial audits

REQUIREMENTS
• Recently qualified accountant or up to 1- 2 years post qualification experience
• Big 4 practice background in financial services is desirable but not essential
• Treasury / Financial Products / Financial Services understanding knowledge and experience
• Financial services/ banking experience via practice or financial services / bank
• Strong IFRS knowledge
