Asset Manager (Real Estate)
Permanent Role
Negotiable DOE
Dublin City Centre

Sigmar are currently recruiting for a Real Estate Asset Manager role with a company based in Dublin City Centre. If you want to work for one of the leading asset servicing platforms, you enjoy dynamic environment and want to work within supportive team in lovely offices this is a role for you.


• Responsible for managing a portfolio of 100-150 assets across different property sectors (commercial, residential, mixed-use)
• Devise and implement a strategy for each asset in your portfolio with a focus on the maximising value
• Preparation of key strategic approval papers, ensuring that submissions are accurate, succinct and in line with our Private Equity client expectations
• Maintain a strong relationship with the client to understand their requirements and ensure expectations are being met / managed
• Develop strong relationships with 3rd party providers including but not limited to Insolvency Practitioners, Solicitors and Sales Agents
• With the Senior Asset Manager, manage tenancy managers, 3rd party contractors and act as point of contact for any escalation of issues from clients, tenants or statutory bodies
• Ensure that actions are in line with all relevant internal and/or legislative policies (as well as Private Equity client requirements) in order to deliver agreed goals
• Data quality analysis - thorough understanding of how to build formula into excel to flag missing and/or potentially incorrect information for review
• Ensure all MI systems are always kept up to date and accurate
• Preparation of internal and external tracker and reports


• 3+ years’ experience in an asset management or real estate
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Proven ability to review interpret and analyse cash-flow, income & expenditure accounts and financial forecasts
• Strong reporting and presentation skills
• Undertake feasibility studies and report on the operational and financial performance
• Strong negotiator in a client facing role and of negotiating with contractors
• Effective communicator, influencer and negotiator with an ability to communicate at all levels
• Demonstrate an organised approach to work
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages with key focus on Excel
• APA (Loan and Regulations)
• A member of the Banking Institute of Ireland (IOB) / RICS / SCSI or intent on becoming a chartered surveyor, qualified accountant or QFA
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree– ideally in Accounting, Finance, Legal, or Real Estate is preferred
• Experience in residential landlord & tenant regulation, knowledge of minimum housing standards and building regulations
• Experience in credit analysis and associated loan documentation, coupled with background in managing complex problem cases
• Awareness of current AML regulatory requirements
