Engineering Supervisor

Job description

The engineering department is very dynamic, and things can change every day. To be a fit for this role you’ll have to understand the nature of the business, how crucial it is to get the product out, and possess the ability to problem-solve fast and fix issues there and then in this a challenging and dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • You will be supervising a Team of 9 and reporting into the Director of Engineering
  • You will schedule, monitor and verify the Preventative Maintenance, instrument Calibration and environmental Re-Qualification activities
  • Participate in preparation, execution and review of qualification and engineering tests/protocols (URS,DQ,FAT, IQ,OQ,PQ)
  • You’ll Monitor & Verify Routine Readings and ensure compliance as per requirements
  • It will be your responsibility to Review & Close Tasks and breakdown event sheets as well as ensure a robust spare parts inventory
  • You’ll Address Deviations /incidents during breakdown/PM/Risk Assessments/IPQ.
  • Ensure checks are carried out for respective areas and review PM schedules records for building maintenance activities
  • Manage the maintenance technicians’ Performance on an ongoing basis to include documented performance reviews
  • You will Conduct SOP Related Training and ensure that the appropriate standards of GMP are maintained at all times
  • You’ll support and implement all Global EHS programs and initiatives

 

Requirements 

  • You’ll need a your Bachelor's Engineering Degree along with 6+ Years’ Experience in an engineering role preferably within the pharmaceutical/ medical device industry
  • People Management/Direct Report Experience is a requirement
  • Experience of FDA, HPRA Audits is an advantage         
  • You’ll need a strong ability to Provide Leadership, develop and train team members
