Job description

A hugely successful Irish IT solutions provider is seeking a Head of Marketing to join their team based in Cork.

The Head of Marketing will create, develop and lead the marketing strategy and the tactics required to maintain and expand the company’s industry-leading position.

This role reports to the Global Sales Director and will interface closely with the CEO and the Executive Team to ensure the planning, implementation and day-to-day management of marketing strategies support the company’s objectives. 

 

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and articulate a vision for the direction and development of the marketing strategy.

Leverage existing relationships to maximise co-marketing funds and demand generation campaigns.

Develop and drive B2B marketing campaigns through traditional, digital and social channels.

Deliver best in class content and marketing solutions through partner channels.

Plan and develop effective lead generation activities to generate marketing qualified leads.

Work closely with the product and sales teams to deliver budget plans.

Control the marketing budget to maximise the return of investment with a keen focus on spend that drives new customer acquisition.

Identify and manage key industry events including conferences, exhibitions and hospitality

 

Key Requirements

3rd level qualification in relevant marketing or business-related discipline

8-10 years B2B Marketing experience

Previous experience in a leading marketing role in the Technology, Saas Solution sector would be a distinct advantage

Strong emphasis on demand generation, new customer acquisition

Previous experience of using Hubspot or other marketing automation tools.

Adept at managing social media, trade shows and conferences

Significant project management skills and campaign execution expertise

Good analytical skills
