Finance Manager - Large SME - Advertising sector

Job description

My client within the Advertising space currently have a 12 month contract for a strong qualified accountant with 5 yrs pqe, hands on finance experience and some exposure to managing a small finance team
RESPONSIBILITIES

 
• Financial performance reporting for Month end, Year to date and forecast for P&L and Balance Sheet
• Detailed P&L review and variance reporting against budget and prior year
• Preparation of reports for finance meetings and board meetings
• Management of Audit process with external auditors 
• Dealing with Tax Advisors and other external consultants
• Provide relevant reports as required by Board of Directors
• Ensuring month end close
• Weekly and Monthly cash flow management
• Dealing with the Bank on all relevant matters
• Manage online banking systems
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset register
• Management of Finance Department and oversight of all functions

REQUIREMENTS
• Qualified Accountant 4-5 years hands on accounting experience
• Staff management experience
• Strong Finance background working within a hands on SME environment
