Role: Technical Services Associate (German-speaking)

Contract: Permanent

Location: Galway City

Our client, a major medical diagnostics and pharma multinational, are looking for a Technical Services Associate to join their team in Galway on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Technical Support Team Lead and working as a member of the Customer Technical Support Team, you will provide the highest levels of customer service in the support of the full range company and 3rd party products.

Duties will include supporting the Commercial Organisations with 1st level technical support for customers and distributors. All members of the team will assist in meeting global targets described within the key performance indicators for individuals, the team and the company.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • To provide first level support to resolving customer complaints and improving customer experience.
  • To be a central source for data regarding product performance that then is used by Marketing, Manufacturing, etc. to deliver increased customers loyalty.
  • To resolve customer issues in an efficient and timely manner and within agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • To continually identify opportunities for process and system improvements that will reduce time and increase efficient resolution of customer complaints.

 

Key Requirements

 

  • Fluent German speaker.
  • The individual will have experience in working in a regulated environment and be capable of providing excellent customer support with challenging technical complaints.
  • Experience in Trouble shooting/Technical query handling essential.
  • Ideally the individual would have scientific qualification with minimum 1-year experience.
  • Able to communicate effectively with customers including a pleasant, polite and outgoing telephone manner essential.
  • IT literacy; good general understanding of all the internal software packages: Outlook, Excel, Word, Concur, Workday, SAP, CRM package, Webex,
