My client based in Dublin 2 currently have a qualified accountant with an Insurance or Financial Services finance background. Will also consider an audit senior who has worked with financial services or Insurance clients.
• Preparation of monthly management reporting
• Expense analysis & reporting versus budget, prior year and forecast including variance analysis
• Liaising with finance teams of other Group companies.
• Preparation of the annual budget and periodical forecast
• Maintaining systems and controls to ensure adequate backup documentation and audit trails.
• Ensuring compliance with all tax and statutory requirements
• Internal group reporting and consolidation
• Project management on enhancing internal reporting, processes and governance
• Operational tasks including ledger entries & reconciliations.
• Qualified Accountant with an Insurance or financial services background
• Strong IFRS and strong reporting experience
• Knowledge of irish regulatory and Insurance accounting
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
