Job description

Due to the continued expansion of operations for the Galway site - my Multinational Medical Device Manufacturing client are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer with a background in Polymer/ Injection Moulding/ Extrusion to join their team

Job Purpose

You’ll be providing daily support of products, processes, materials and equipment in order to achieve production goals

 

Responsibilities

  • You will Analyse Process, Product, Material or Equipment Specifications and Performance Requirements
  • You will Compile and Analyse test and experimental Data with the goal of Establishing Performance Standards for newly implemented or modified products
  • You’ll Troubleshoot new products/ processes working closely with product development
  • You will continually seek to Drive Improvements in process design, layout and operational performance
  • You’ll demonstrate good working knowledge and application of Validation Techniques and associated Regulatory Requirements
  • You will give Technical Guidance to Associate Engineers and Technicians

 

Qualifications

  • You’ll need your Level 8 HETAC Degree, ideally in Polymer/Materials Engineering
  • At least 3 Years of relevant industry experience
  • You need to have strong Theoretical and Practical Knowledge of Core Polymer Process with particular emphasis on Injection/Insert Moulding equipment OR/AND Extrusion equipment and Process Engineering
  • You’ll need knowledge of Equipment and Process Validation
