Planner/Buyer

Job description

Responsibilities

  • You will be working with the Planning Department to schedule and maintain planning activities in the execution of the MPS
  • You will lead the Planning Function in the Operations Planning Process of the S&OP
  • Develop, maintain, analyse and publish KPIs
  • Instigate and Implement Improvement Opportunities within the Materials Management Group and participate in Continuous Improvement activities across all other internal departments
  • You will be responsible for Procuring Raw Materials, Components and Equipment
  • Managing the Day-to-Day Supplier Relationships

 

Requirements

  • You’ll need your Level 8 Degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ Years’ Experience in a similar role
  • Superuser within ERP – with timely resolution of exception messages on purchasing and production controls very desirable
  • You’ll need to be a Strong Influencer as well as an Excellent Team Player
  • A Self-Starter with the ability to work in a Fast-Paced and Dynamic Environment
  • Previous experience Implementing an ERP System is highly desirable
