                                        Software Support Engineer - Permanent - Dublin West

      Sigmar Recruitment is glad to announce a Senior Software Support Engineer role for a fast growing Security Solutions Providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritize client calls and emails
Communicate with clients to provide technical support and explanation of resolutions
Liaise with the company's Support Desk Manager and the relevant software and hardware stakeholders to resolve all raised
• Reporting of Software bugs and improvements to development team
Identify upgrade opportunities within both software and hardware installations
Ad hoc duties requested 

Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar qualification
2-3 years’ minimum experience as a Software Support Engineer
• Understanding of databases (preferably Oracle) and SQL principals
PL/SQL and JavaScript knowledge preferred
• Experience in Linux and Windows Operating Systems
Troubleshooting and resolution experience

Key Competencies:
Technical skills over a broad range of computer science fields
• Customer focused
• Ability to use own initiative
• Time Management skills
