Leading international shipping and Logistics company is looking for a Customer Planner to join their Supply Chain team. The salary is €35k to €45k and the are based in Dublin North.
The Role of the Customer Planner:
Your role will be to familiarize yourself with assigned clients, including key account clients; managing their unique requirements and operating processes.
The duties of the Customer Planner job:
Capture import & export booking/pick-up details and instruct operating branches that shipments are awaiting processing
Plane strategies to process shipments accurately to ensure high level of data quality/integrity.
Liaise with other offices to ensure smooth operation of client bookingsTrack and Monitore key accounts activities and shipments daily
Liaise with transport & shipping to ensure operations are carried out to required standardProvide immediate response / feedback to customer queriesMonitor shipments and provide updates to clients as requestedMonitor service and service metrics, including EDI transmissions, and investigate service issues proactively, working with the appropriate teams to implement solutions and communicate them to the clientCompletes regularly scheduled reportsEnters data into client operating or visibility systemsRequirements of the Customer Planner Job:3 to 4 years experience in similar roleDegree in Supply chain/Logistics desirable but not preferableStrong knowledge of the transport and shipping industry
