Finance Manager - Retail - MNC exp 80k

Job description

My client within the retail sector currently have a requirement for an experienced Finance Manager who MUST have a multi-national background. Within this role you will be involved in all aspects of the accounting and finance functions. This position will oversee the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accountants, and report to the Group Controller in the U.S.

• Responsible for all accounting and reporting responsibilities
• Cash Management responsibilities
• Management of all month end duties
• Prepare monthly and weekly financial reporting
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable function
• Work with other departments to proactively address the accounting implications of various transactions issues
• Coordinate with international teams to ensure all intercompany balance are communicated, confirmed, and reconciled
• Manage external financial audit
• Preparation of comprehensive financial budgets and cash projections
• Experience with international manufacturers for product receipts, invoicing and payments
• Project work

• Qualified Accountant – At least 5 years’ experience in a similar Finance Manager role
• Experience in Irish and US GAAP
• Experience in international wholesale and distribution business- candidate must be coming from Consumer products/ goods industry – ONLY apply if you are coming from a finance manager role in this sector
• Proficiency in FX transactions and accounting in a multicurrency environment
