Senior Financial Controller Asset Management - 90k

Job description

My client within the asset management sector currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant with a number of years  working as a finance manager within the asset management sector. You will be qualified with at least 6-7 years pqe.
 Reporting to the VP based in London the key responsibilities include preparing the statutory financial reporting and regulatory reporting for a UK-based asset manager

• Coordinating & managing the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounting reporting
• Reviewing of the monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
• Coordinating and preparing Board decks;
• Producing and distributing of key performance indicators;
• Cash Flow forecasting for entities & branches;
• Coordinating the FP& A team in the production of relevant financial data
• Working with the billing manager on Investments global billing process & reporting;
• Reviewing of Vat returns and the corporate tax computations
• Coordinating the production of the FCA quarterly return and annual returns;
• Implementing and reviewing of internal controls and enhancing procedures
• Participating in developing the accounting infrastructure and application interfaces
• Assisting with the preparation of the financial statement under FRS102 guidelines  and of the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process 
• Working with the auditors
• overseeing a team of three people

• Qualified Accountant with strong Finance Manager experience within the Asset Management sector
• Strong staff management experience
• Project Management
