Sigmar Recruitment have a great role available for an Application support specialist with a client based in Citywest.
What you will do:
• Manage and prioritize client calls and emails
• Communicate with clients to provide technical support and explanation of resolutions
• Manage priorities of conflicting situations
• Reporting of Software bugs and improvements to development team.
• Identify upgrade opportunities within both software and hardware installations
What you will need:
• 2-3 years’ minimum experience as a Software Support Engineer
• Understanding of databases (preferably Oracle) and SQL principals
• PL/SQL knowledge preferred
• Experience in Linux and Windows Operating Systems
• Troubleshooting and resolution experience
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Customer service experience
• Experience using various VPN software
