Regulatory Governance

2 Year Fixed Term Contractd

Dublin City Centre

Senior Economist is required in a supporting role within the Regulatory Governance department of this company.  The successful candidate will be responsible for providing economics input into various projects

Key skills & responsibilities

  • Mandate governance structures
  • Evaluation of any voluntary proposals
  • Oversight of any new governance structures
  • Project Team Member
  • Drafting of public consultations and other documents
  • Preparation of 'Regulatory Impact Assessments'
  • Preparing Terms of Reference
  • Reviewing documentation
  • Management of relationships, both internal and external

Ideal Candidate will have a strong understanding of the communications sector and a willingness to work as an Economist in the Regulatory Governance arena

Experience Required

  • Post graduate qualification in economics, business, finance or similar relevant discipline
  • Significant experience in regulation/competition economics and competition law
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  • Proven drafting and communication skills
  • Document preparation experience
  • Qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities
  • Proven working knowledge of application of information and data analysis within a regulatory or business environment
  • Work experience in a regulatory compliance environment
