My client is an Innovative technology and communications multinational, looking for an expereinced Accounts Payable specialist to join accountancy their team in a fast-paced environment.

You will be starting on a 6 to 12-month contract (depending on your preference) and there will be a possibility of extending the contract into a permanent position in successful in the role. You will be working from the international headquaters based in Dublin 4.

You should have 2 - 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable position preferably from a similar multinational industry or large company.


Your Main duties will include:

Responsible the full process of matching, verifying and entering supplier invoices in the system; handling employee expense claims; ensuring costs are coded correctly in each entity, and entering intercompany journals where necessary.

As an Accounts Payable, you will be maintaining the Accounts Payable sub-ledger and responsible for all paymentsof supplier invoices and employee cash expense claims and resolution of supplier and employee queries relating to invoices and expense claims.

You will be included in special projects such as process improvements and implementation, and integrating accounting for acquired entities

Experience you will require:


For this position, you will need 2 years accounts payable experience from a multinational environment or similar industry. Good systems and MS skills, will be required, where you have a track record of meeting strict deadlines for monthly reporting.

You should have a good knowledge of basic accounting principles, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. To be successful in the role you should be committed to providing excellent customer service and be a team player with a positive and flexible attitude.
