Job title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

This job is a standalone TA role based within the HR team.

Job location: Galway City and Wexford

This is a permanent role

About the employer

This busy role is based within a multi-national company with Sites in Galway City and Wexford. The ideal applicant will probably live in the Midlands and be able to travel to both sites.

When not on site a work from home option is also available to applicants.

The ideal Talent Acquisition Specialist candidate will have the following responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for the sourcing of high calibre applicants using effective sourcing tools (including social media) and working proactively with hiring managers across the business.

  • Managing the end to end recruitment and selection process.

  • Attending interviews and providing guidance to hiring managers.

  • Manage the internal applicant systems and generating reports.

  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process up to offer stage.

  • Achieve KPIs including productivity and time to hire.

  • Develop a strong understanding of the business and individual job roles and match candidates accordingly.

  • Build the brand at local colleges and universities across Ireland.

The successful Talent Acquisition Specialist will have the following skills and experience:

  • 3rd level qualification in HR, Marketing or similar.

  • 4 years + Recruiting experience, ideally within Life Sciences.

  • Strong skills in research and sourcing techniques.

  • Self-motivated and the ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.

  • Interpersonal and interviewing skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of social media and general web technologies for sourcing applicants.

  • Ability to manage large scale recruitment projects with high volumes of candidates.

  • Must be able to demonstrate key stakeholder management capabilities.
