Banking Operations Assistant

Job description

Our client , a global financial services organisation based in Dublin city centre is seeking to hire a Banking Operations Assistant on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure reconciliations are performed on a monthly basis
  • Authorised signatures for large value instructions – approval 

  • Accountability for processing & amendment of following fees – Ledger, BusinessMaster, EFT & BIDDS/IDC fees

  • Management of encashment process

  • Supplier Management – dealing with and providing feedback to suppliers / monitoring of trends of errors

  • Dealing with customers around complaints / queries / issues that threaten operational delivery

  • Management of ledger fees within LFA specifically committing and posting various manual fees

  • Payment processing of SEPA files on SPS

  • Deliver excellent customer service on all SEPA related queries

  • Responsibility for daily and monthly reconciliations process of a number of internal accounts

Experience and Skills Required:

Ideally one years experience in funds administration

  • Excellent communications skills along with the strong organisational ability
  • Third Level Degree
  • Strong MS Office Skills.
