Quality Assurance Manager activities such as estimation, testing activities, resource planning and reporting for large complex projects/programmes, directing multiple Team Leads (1-4) and Analysts (1-10) approx. as part of a project team.
Quality Assurance Governance in the areas Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Performance Testing, Security Testing and Vendor Management by applying QA techniques and skills to guide others in the pursuit of quality outcomes.
Ensure relevant Stakeholders are advised of progress and challenges being encountered, escalating as appropriate so that project progress is maintained in line with commitments.
Provide coaching, mentoring and on-going feedback to team members to share expertise and ensure the necessary skills, competencies and knowledge are being developed in order to ensure that optimal Quality Assurance services are provided so that staff can develop their careers.
Experience in leveraging automation to enable project efficiencies, whilst maintaining quality standards.
Proven experience in establishing vendor relationships and monitoring and managing of all associated deliverables throughout the SDLC.
Working closely with the IT Project Manager, Developers, Business Analysts, Business Stakeholders and all project team members in the pursuit of a quality solution delivery.
Full understanding of SDLC Methodologies and where the role of Quality fits in.
7 years’ + experience in a software quality assurance with 4+ years in QA Management.
Experience in implementing QA strategy and managing senior QA personnel.
ISEB/ISTQB in Software Testing
Diploma/Degree in Information Systems or IT subject or relevant industry qualifications.
Excellent Quality Assurance & Testing Knowledge.
Excellent communications & reporting;
Strong QA estimation, planning & management;
Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
Robust Automation Skills & Vendor management
