Sigmar Recruitment have a unique new contracting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to work with our globally recognised client in Cork. This is a 23 month contracting role, offering excellent working conditions and career development.
The overall purpose of this role is to ensure equipment is maintained in a safe, compliant and efficient manner. The successful candidate will have a high level of initiative and self-motivation. You will be part of a high performing organisation where flexibility and team work are crucial.
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop plan for all onsite equipment to be categorised for maintenance activities in order of criticality
Plan budget for onsite facilities and maintenance works ensuring to adhere to this at all stages of the financial year
Organise and monitor all quality records and activities ensuring adherence to cGMP’s, environmental and statutory regulations
Coordinate alarm response strategy for all shifts
Manage all aspects of the change process with regards to maintenance activities, ensuring all changes are recorded and risk assessed appropriately in order to meet cGMP and safety requirements
Create a strategy for continuous improvement across all aspects of facilities and maintenance
Provide accurate and comprehensive reports and analysis of key maintenance metrics
Take responsibility for set up and control of site maintenance contracts, repairs and maintenance activities
Third level qualification in Engineering or Science discipline
Previous experience working in GMP and pharmaceutical environments
Strong working knowledge of cGMP compliance
Previous experience creating and implementing maintenance and reliability programs
Proven experience utilising clean and black utilities
Excellent aptitude for engineering systems and equipment
High level of proficiency utilising reliability excellence methodologies
IT literate (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Adobe Abrobat)
Previous experience working with CMMS systems (e.g. SAP or EAM)
