We have an exciting and unique opportunity for a Business Analyst within a well-known eCommerce Company based in Dublin City Centre.
Your role will be to design and deliver appropriate business solutions meeting both our business and client needs. Perform all aspects of the SDLC from detailed requirements specification through to providing support for the systems implementations.
Working with Customers and Product Consultants to capture and define requirements for new product features.
Ability to communicate to clients what the current product functionality entails so that enhancements can be clearly identified.
Acting as the bridge between internal Development teams and Customers in clarifying requirements, getting answers to questions and agreeing on alternative solutions where necessary.
Communicating product enhancements clearly in the form of User-stories, Use-cases, Wireframes/Mock-ups, Flow diagrams, etc.
Supporting internal Development teams through the development and test process, providing guidance on intended functionality.
Assist in the preparation of Acceptance test cases and also, in the execution of testing to ensure resulting features operate as our customers expect.
Travel to client sites on an intermittent basis to attend, present or coordinate workshops.
Carry out analysis of non-trivial Production issues where behaviour deviates from the norm and advise on a resolution.
4+ years’ experience in Business Analysis in a fast-paced organisation, ideally in a Retail environment
Excellent written and verbal communications, including stakeholder management.
Proven track record of capturing and documenting application features from inception through to successful customer delivery.
Ability to clearly capture and explain complicated processes and concepts to non-experts across various teams and management levels.
Detail-oriented, with strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Good understanding of the Software Development lifecycle in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Proven experience with some / all of the following:
- MS Office, HTML, Markdown, Google Docs.
- Creation of Business Models and Flowcharts.
- Wireframe and Mockup creation e.g. Balsamiq.
- Creation of User-stories, Use-cases e.g. JIRA.
- Creation of full Business Requirements Documents (BRDs).
Ability to prepare test cases, and support or execute test activities.
Third level qualification in Business and/or IT or related discipline.
