My client, a leading Manufacturing and Engineering company is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager for a nationwide role. You will be responsible for both identifying and developing new business and also providing account management with existing customer whilst seeking to maximise on these pre-existing relationships.
- Identifying new prospective customers and engaging with relevant staff in house, engineers, purchasing and general management
- Presenting to customers at their sites to make them aware of product ranges and solutions
- Negotiation of sales and sales order processing
- Contacting key accounts and seeking to develop and strengthen these relationships whilst also taking leads and up selling
- Liaising with internal teams on supply and quality issues
- Launching and promoting new products
- Attending trade shows
- At least 5 years as a Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Manager with experience of selling into the manufacturing, pharmaceutical or process markets
- An excellent negotiator
- Excellent communication skills across all levels
- Proficient in MS Office
- Clean driving license
