Health and Safety Officers are responsible for checking the safety documentation and practices of various teams on sites including subcontractors. They provide training and guidance, for example with toolbox talks, check and monitor work practices, and compete investigations and reports on any relevant accidents or incidents. They can progress into safety manager roles with responsibility for safety across all company projects and for managing a team of safety officers.
