Usually with specific responsibility for either a region, specific industry or specific product range they become specialised in that particular focus. The role often requires a good technical knowledge of the product or service being sold to effectively manage objections or queries from prospective clients. Salary packages usually offer a 60/40 split between basic and commission, include either a car or a car allowance, company phone and laptop and expenses to cover travel costs.
